You know that fantasy of the guy who could pin you against a wall with one hand but instead chooses to lie naked on a cognac leather couch and look at you with absolute calm? That’s exactly the energy of Kasheem “The Dream” Peterson. Former professional MMA fighter from Philadelphia, this guy has a record in the ring — and a physique that doesn’t lie. Photographed by Bryan Slater in a New York loft, this series shows him in a pink jockstrap then completely naked, and trust me, you won’t look away.
Let’s start with the obvious: Kasheem is built like a machine. Shaved head, deep ebony skin, magnetic light eyes — green, almost golden depending on the light — and a body that tells the story of years of fighting and gym work. The shoulders are massive, the arms swell like tree trunks, the pecs are wide and dense, the abs are cut into sharp plates, the obliques carved out, and the waist stays narrow. This is the build of a welterweight who cut for fights and kept the physique after — lean, hard, explosive. His thick neck, striated with muscle, reinforces this impression of raw power. The kind of body that makes you think “this guy could break me in half” — and that’s exactly why it’s exciting.
And then there are the tattoos. Massive Polynesian tribal designs covering the entire left arm in a full sleeve, climbing up the shoulder and spreading across the left pec in a blend of geometry and symbols. The right thigh also bears ink. On black skin, the tattoos appear like shadows within shadows — you have to look closely to grasp the details, and that’s exactly what you do: look very, very closely. An ear piercing that glints completes the picture.
The bright pink jockstrap — probably the most provocative piece in the series. On a body like this, pink works like a call, a deliberate contrast between the brutal masculinity of the physique and the most openly queer color in the spectrum. There’s something thrilling about this choice: a former MMA fighter posing in tight pink underwear with the same confidence as if he were stepping into the ring. Standing against the wall, near the cast iron radiator and industrial windows of the loft, arm raised, he flexes naturally — and every muscle in his torso and thigh responds. Sitting on the couch, legs spread, hand sliding into the jock, he looks at you with that calm of a guy who knows exactly the effect he has.
Then the jock disappears. Lying naked on the brown leather, arms behind his head, he exposes everything — the soft cock resting against his thigh, the flat stomach, the abs rising and falling with his breathing. A close-up shows his hand wrapped around his thick dick, abs in the foreground, face slightly blurred in the background — it’s the rawest image in the series, and also the most intimate. A former professional fighter, lying on leather, naked and relaxed in a New York loft. It’s the kind of scene that doesn’t leave your head.
Bryan Slater, New York-based photographer, former model and performer, has spent years capturing what he calls the shameless beauty of the naked male body. With Kasheem, he found a subject who embodies that perfectly: a guy who boxed professionally, who carries his body like a weapon, and who has no shame showing it in all its nudity. If you like muscular, black, tattooed guys who radiate alpha energy without trying — you just found your new favorite.
