Quick reminder for those who might have missed it: we already featured Italo Fassin here a few months ago, in another series. For the newcomers, catch up quick. Italo is a bodybuilder, Latino, and has the kind of body that makes you suddenly regret settling for coffee and croissant this morning. But today we’re not here to talk biceps or meal #4. We’re here to talk about his ass.
Because that’s what this is about, the real subject of the new shoot by Jeferson Medrado. You click the link thinking you’ll find yet another bodybuilder shoot, and you find yourself facing a back that tapers in a perfect V down to two golden, round and bubble cheeks, positioned on a Persian rug in the middle of an empty room. Light streams through the window, licks the contours, and you set down your glass in silence.
What makes these photos hot is the simplicity. No overthought decor, no acrobatic poses. Italo just stands there, hands on hips like a guy contemplating his city from his living room. Except he’s completely naked. You see every shadow, every valley between his glutes, every line on his lower back pointing to what matters. The bronzed, satiny skin catches light like true Brazilian bronze.
And then there’s the photo where he spreads his arms against the wall, turned in profile. That one, between us, is downright religious. You feel like you’re witnessing a Latin crucifixion, except the guy has a cock at rest hanging proudly between his thighs and an ass that pushes air backwards. Not much for altar boys, perfect for us.
The art of framing an ass like an icon
Jeferson Medrado knows what he’s doing. He puts Italo at a distance, in almost empty rooms, and lets him occupy the space alone. It’s the complete opposite of an intimate 50cm shoot: we’re in master painting territory, in pornographic tableau in the classical sense. The guy is displayed like a living sculpture, except this sculpture has skin texture, hair on his forearms, and a dick showing in profile.
What I also love: Italo doesn’t smile. He looks out the window, he looks at the wall, or he looks nowhere. You don’t get the impression he’s posing for you. You get the impression you’re watching him unaware, and that’s precisely what puts me in that particular state we all know.
